@foppa that’s a great comparison because dober gets rocked just as much as jiri does yet nobody talks about it

Ricci vs Loopy is my FoTN and I'm torn between them..both got such good, crispy inside boxing. I think Ricci just had better JJ and will win a competitive decision.

+ Money on Diego? I'll take it. Sabatinis best art is what Diego specializes in. His stand up is basic and he doesn't like being hit(I'm from PA, so this isn't biased.) Lopes is just better everywhere.

I don't think I've ever seen a single compliment on this website about Jiri's chin and I'll never understand it.

Hasn't lost a fight in almost a decade. Dude can clearly take a punch as well as anyone with the way he fights.

I think people just automatically assume he’s screwed since poatan has the left hook of death. But tbh jiri hits just as hard as poatan

Viacheslav Borshchev, DEC
IGNORE PROPS. Going with the dog at 2.4. Much people say Sadykhov sub (may cause Borshchev to change from 2.1-2.4); but see matchup predominantly as striker vs. striker (more of 50/50 fight);

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 11 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 695 Points   |   Tied for 135th

Procházka vs. Pereira
Jiří Procházka, TKO, R3
Pereira fading after R2 and Jiri getting it with some wild GnP.

Pavlovich vs. Aspinall
Tom Aspinall, SUB, R1
Aspinall being to wellrounded and eventually getting it to the ground. RNC late R1.

Andrade vs. Dern
Jéssica Andrade, TKO, R1
Andrade likes money more than Moicano in 2023, 5th fight?! Daaamn! Okay we all know it has not gone her way this year but this time she should get it right? Dern dont got the wrestling to take her down and neither does she have striking to put her out... Andrade by finish or a beat down like against Murphy.

Frevola vs. Saint-Denis
Benoit Saint-Denis, SUB, R2
Dont blink on this one! Both guys willing to take one to give one. Frevola might have more power but I also thinks his chin is a bit more frail. Saint-Denis seems to get the finishes in R2, club and sub?

Sabatini vs. Lopes
Diego Lopes, SUB, R2
I mean this one, come on! If you like some mma grappling this one should be all that. Leaning towards Lopes getting it done and finding the sub if Sabatini indulges in the festivities on the ground. But if they cancel each other out and it becomes a striking affair I have no idea!

Erceg vs. Costa
Steve Erceg, DEC
Erceg looked good last time coming out of nowhere but Costa should be good enough not to get finished but might be too comfy of his back letting AstroBoy slip away with the impact and win a dec. Should be a fun and wild fight though.

Ricci vs. Godinez
Lupita Godinez, DEC
Loopy being the better wrestler should get here this one right?

Rębecki vs. Roberts
Mateusz Rębecki, TKO, R2
Roberts seemed like a prospect once upon a time but can he really stand against some legendary polish power? Rebecki by som crucifix GnP in R2!

Sadykhov vs. Borshchev
Nazim Sadykhov, SUB, R1
Wrestling and then a club and sub? Seems like the recipe on Slava.

Gordon vs. Madsen
Jared Gordon, TKO, R2
Gordon should be able to punish Madsen on the feet or might even be able to get a sub as well since Madsen still is too much of just a Greco wrestler. Madsen showed a bit of improved striking in the Guida fight where he actually used the jab etc but I dont think it is enough... Dont get me wrong I dont want to **** on Madsen, starting his second career at like 34 after a tough first one and still reaching almost top 20 in the world is damn good but I think this is his ceiling. Sweden and Denmark has had their differences and I should have Denmarks back here but I just cant.

Kang vs. Castañeda
John Castañeda, DEC
Sexi Mexi is well rounded enough to shut down the submission threat of Kang and punish him on all distances.

Van vs. Borjas
Joshua Van, DEC
Is flyweight unders back? Who the hell knows, coin flip here. Random dudes from DWCS. At least Van won over Zhalgas but the dudes from Peru shouldnt be underestimated since they have shown to decent......

Buzukja vs. Emmers
Jamall Emmers, DEC
Not impressed with Bazooka last time out. Leaning towards the experience of Pretty boy getting him the dec.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 2179th

Procházka vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, TKO, R2
I think Jiri gets caught with his hands out of position at some point, and if Alex catches you, you get put out

Andrade vs. Dern
Jéssica Andrade, DEC
I think we see the real Andrade here, we now know why she looked so bad recently. Dern is improving, but I don't think she is there yet against an Andrade firing on all cylinders. I feel that could be today.

Frevola vs. Saint-Denis
Matt Frevola, DEC
Frevola by decision. He is better everywhere and his chin should last. Benoit is too tough to put away though I thought he looked terrible on the scales.

Sabatini vs. Lopes
Pat Sabatini, DEC
Lopes accepts bottom position to easily, and Sabatini's top pressure is so tight. I think he has the better grappling. His cage wrestling is also really good, and I don't think it stays standing for long. One thing I am almost certain of, Lopes is not going to be able to submit Sabatini from bottom

Ricci vs. Godinez
Tabatha Ricci, DEC
I feel that though Lupi has power and good wrestling, Ricci has movement, volume and better BJJ

Rębecki vs. Roberts
Mateusz Rębecki, TKO, R2
Rebecki should get the takedowns and dominate.

Sadykhov vs. Borshchev
Nazim Sadykhov, DEC
Nazim has a clear path to victory, I just don't see why he wouldn't use it, especially being in the camp he is in

Gordon vs. Madsen
Jared Gordon, DEC
Out of respect to Santino and Brandan I am not breaking down this fight

Kang vs. Castañeda
Kyung Ho Kang, DEC
I think Kang rolls here, combining his striking from a distance and his grappling.

Van vs. Borjas
Joshua Van, DEC
Van could be the real deal. Good close fight though.

Buzukja vs. Emmers
Jamall Emmers, SUB, R3
I think Emmers is clearly the better fighter and gets a late finish

First, literarily everyone rate Jiri way higher then Dober,

Drew Dober usually get submitted, not knockout, he’s been knockout twice by Frevola and by some guy in 2011, He has one of the best chins I ever seen, also who cares about he’s finished stat or about how many times he lost when you talking about chin, it about the knockouts, using finish or loses stats is misleading because it factors in submission and decision lost which don’t matter

Also, no one’s saying Jiri has a bad chin, Jiri chin is insane, all we saying is that he’s fighting Alex Perreria, glory 2 division champ and one of the most powerful punches ever, having those defensive issues is an issue against him
