Smith style plays right into Hill it is his fight to lose end of story, now if it goes to the ground Hill will be crying.

We’ve seen this time and time again. Fighters who are ridiculously inactive get worked. I don’t see how it’s any different here. Abu Azaitar has fought exactly FOUR times since 2016. Now his going up against a younger, faster and hungrier fighter who is arguably better than him in all aspects of MMA. I see Sedriques "THE REAPER" Dumas finishing Abu Azaitar BAD.

God damn, they're feeding the Azaitars to actual good prospects now 💀 Also what happened to his record? They change his debut to a DQ loss for eye guaging? Sheesh. Abu was never that good but he's still falling off

Now that Hill is fighting Glover this card needs a new main event and there are plenty of better options. Off the top of my head, I'd love to see Pavlovich v. Blaydes, Gaethje v. Fiziev (long rumored but elusive), Oliveira v. Dariush, or Yan v.  Dvalishvili.

Dumas vs. Azaitar
Sedriques Dumas, TKO, R2
It's very clear the UFC doesn't want Abu, Dumas is a lot bigger and seemingly better everywhere. Abu also never fights so if his brother was an indication of anything he's probably not gonna look very good

Brzeski vs. Williams
Łukasz Brzeski, TKO, R2
I wasn't impressed with Brzeski prior to the Buday fight but he was actually very impressive in that fight. Showcasing good speed and good overall striking skills. Williams has an impressive takedown game but if i remember correctly Brzeski has a decent ground game so i'll take him with the KO

I thought about a good replacement for Smith and for as low ranked as he is, he seems good enough for a situation like this, since they were comfortable making Smith fight Spann with a pretty decently big gap in the rankings between the two. So honestly I can see Smith(#6) vs Rountree Jr (#15) as a main event. If not, I can see either Jan vs Smith, but I'm not sure if Jan is able to come back 3 months later after showing clear concussive damage after the Ankalaev fight or I can see what @mothsword recommended above this message

yeah for sure, it can be a really good test if Smith goes full grapple mode and if he does get by smith then not only will we get a cool TKO finish cos he'll probably win that way, but we also get a younger and new guy at the top. Though if I'm being honest idk if Rountree Jr gets by a lot of top 10s let alone top 5, his best chances are guys like Smith, Spann and Jamahal, guys who can't get it down much

tbf on Kyler's part, his 1st rd vs Paiva should've 100% been a 10-8 for him. And he could've even arguably had won one of the later rounds
