Predictions: 4 of 9 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points | Tied for 315th
Yuta Kubo, DEC
Super interesting fight despite these guys' lack of MMA experience, Kubo has an insane number of kickboxing wins going back 15 years and Ota is an Olympic wrestler. Let's see how much Kubo has drilled his takedown defense

Yuki Motoya, DEC
My name is Yuki motoya, this guy is a bum, prepare to die.
Ougikubo vs. Otsuka
Hiromasa Ougikubo, DEC
Otsuka should retire if he loses this.
Inoue vs. Hokamura
Naoki Inoue, SUB, R1
What are these matchups...
Asakura vs. Yoshihiro Yamaniha
Kai Asakura, TKO, R1
Is that a professional wrestling belt in asakuras picture?
Hamasaki vs. Fujino
Emi Fujino, TKO, R1
Don't know how fujino is this big an underdog
Takeda vs. Yachi
Koji Takeda
I know why yachi is this big an underdog.
Sasaki vs. Horie
Ulka Sasaki, DEC
Fear an old man in a business where men die young.
Ota vs. Kubo
Shinobu Ota, DEC
Who?
Maruyama vs. Suzuki
Shoji Maruyama, DEC
Pro wrestler ftw

Shinobu Ota, DEC
I’m going Ota but I’m not very confident. He got dropped by Tokoro in that last fight within the first 30 seconds. If he can whether the early storm and get a takedown, he’s got this.

Yuki Motoya, SUB, R1
Not convinced Takizawa can dance his way around Motoya. An early sub for the vet.
Ougikubo vs. Otsuka
Hiromasa Ougikubo, DEC
Has the potential to be a serious borefest. Ougikubo takes a comfortable win home and advances to the next round.
Inoue vs. Hokamura
Naoki Inoue, SUB, R1
Inoue will continue his rampage through this tournament with another convincing, early finish. Kintaro will engage wildly from the get-go and end up getting his back taken.
Asakura vs. Yoshihiro Yamaniha
Kai Asakura, DEC
I really think this will be more competitive than people expect. Hiro is fairly durable and, while he loves to strike, I imagine seeing Kleber beat Mikiru might make him want to grapple enough to avoid getting finished. A tough out for Kai.
Hamasaki vs. Fujino
Ayaka Hamasaki, TKO, R2
Ayaka has fallen in love with striking and Fujino has heaps of scar tissue. Can see a doctor stoppage in this one.
Takeda vs. Yachi
Koji Takeda, DEC
Takeda's rarely in a dull fight and I can see him adding another JMMA champ to his growing resume.
Sasaki vs. Horie
Ulka Sasaki, DEC
This fight will be the best of the night, without a doubt. Sasaki edges it.
Ota vs. Kubo
Shinobu Ota, SUB, R1
Way more exciting than it should be! An MMA debut for Kubo against 0-1-0 Olympic silver medallist in Ota. Definitely favour the grappler in this one.
Maruyama vs. Suzuki
Shoji Maruyama, DEC
Maruyama looks good here as the underdog. Suzuki is still pretty raw.

Ayaka Hamasaki, DEC
Coin toss, these are two legends of atomweight! What a fight!
Sasaki vs. Horie
Ulka Sasaki, DEC
Two of the most exciting fighters I can name, this is going to be an absoulte war
Ota vs. Kubo
Shinobu Ota, TKO, R1
Olympic wrestler vs retired Kickboxer really only has one outcome: smesh.
